Can I Proof My Child’s Sports Photos?

We know — you’re excited to see how awesome your kid looks in their photos! It's important to me too.
But here's the scoop: online proofing and selection is for high schools team sports sessions only.

For younger groups, proofing happens right on the camera during the photo session. That means your child (or you!) gets to pick the favorite shots right then and there. Once chosen, those images are locked in with your child's name and ready to be polished into greatness! Parents are encouraged to attend and be a part of the secretion process in the studio

When Will I Get My Sports Photos?

Team Sports: Usually 10–12 weeks during most of the year. Remember many times there are still students that need to do make up pictures which will put your Thombs photo orders on hold until everyone has attended.
School & Seniors: 4–6 weeks after ordering.

Why the wait? Because I'm not just snapping pics — I'm creating custom digital art! I work with multiple schools and teams, and every child’s photo gets the same love and care.

Cell Phone & Personal Photography Policy

To maintain a focused, professional environment, cell phones are not permitted in the photo area. Upon arrival, clients will be asked to leave their devices at the front desk in a secure, designated space for the duration of the session.

For quality control and client privacy, personal photography or video recording is not allowed at any time within the studio.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us provide a seamless and high-quality experience for all of our clients. Student selfies and fun shots are at the photographer's discretion.

When Will My Senior Sports Banner Be Ready?

Senior banners come first—always! These are time-sensitive, so we design them before any other photo orders for all schools.

When Should I Place My Sports Order?

We’re all about capturing the perfect moment—and keeping things simple for you!

To help us stay organized (and get your photos to you as quickly as possible), please place your order ahead of time or right after your child’s photo session. This is ONLY for youth sessions.

I have school sessions well allow proofing in the selection process, which will give parents up to a 7-10 days to order online.

What if my kiddo misses their team's photo session?

No worries...Life happens! Whether it's a surprise sniffle, a last-minute meltdown, or your goldfish’s birthday (hey, priorities), sometimes your child might have to miss their scheduled photo session.

No worries—we offer make-up sessions in the studio so your star can still shine in the spotlight! A $15 make-up session fee applies, and once that’s squared away, we’ll send you a list of available dates to get those picture-perfect smiles captured.

Quick heads-up: When someone misses their photo session, it holds up the whole team’s photos. So let’s work together to keep everything snappy and smooth. Thanks for being awesome!

Missed Your Child’s Team Photo Studio Session?

No Worries—But Don’t Wait!

Life happens—we understand! If your little star misses their photo session, you’ve got 7 days to make things right. Just send us an email to reschedule and take care of the makeup session fee. ✨

But here’s the deal: after those 7 days, the team is officially wrapped and ready for the group photo... and sadly, that means we can’t squeeze in any last-minute additions. No exceptions. (We pinky promise it’s not personal—just part of keeping things running smoothly for everyone!)

So, if you miss it, drop us a note ASAP and we’ll get your kiddo back in the spotlight.

We kindly ask that you do not reach out via Instagram, Facebook, or text message, as those platforms are not monitored for client communication. Messages sent through social media or text will not receive a response unless Jon has initiated contact with you directly.

Please allow 48–72 hours for an email response. Text messaging is reserved strictly for one-on-one communication initiated by the photographer.

Didn’t Get Your Sports Photo Order?

Let’s Fix That, but don't wait too long...

If everyone’s showing off their photos and you’re still waiting on yours—don’t panic! If your order doesn’t arrive with the rest of the team’s, just email us within 30 days to let us know.

We’ll make it right!

But here’s the catch: after those 30 days, your order is officially off the radar, and we can’t guarantee a reprint. (We’d love to help forever, but we've got new smiles to capture!)

If your photos are waiting at the studio, you’ll get one friendly text letting you know they’re ready. After that, it’s up to you to swing by during a scheduled studio night to pick them up. Need a list of pickup times? Just send an email and we’ll be happy to share the schedule.

Still Waiting on Senior Sports Photo Order?

Senior banners are rushed so they're ready ASAP—but prints, buttons, and extras wait until the whole team has had their photos taken.

Once everyone's done, we process all orders together. So if you're still waiting, it just means the team isn’t quite photo-finished yet!

My Team Didn’t Schedule—Can We Still Do Pictures?

Absolutely! Even if the team didn’t book with us, your athlete can still shine solo.

Just book an Individual Sports Session, starting at $150 (includes digital proofing). Pricing varies by age, and there’s a $100 minimum print order.

How Much Are Sports Digital Images (usually)?

We like to keep it simple:

Each digital image is usually $55, capturing all the sweat, speed, and celebration in one click.

Senior Portrait Digitals are over $100.00 each. Totally different from sports photos.

Add-on digitals? They vary in price depending on which package you’ve picked. Some bundles come with sweet deals, so you might get more for less!

“Double Image Design” vs. “Two Pose” – What’s the Difference?

Great question! They sound similar, but here’s the scoop:

Double Image Design
This is like a mini masterpiece—two different images creatively combined into one print. Think of it as a cool collage or an artsy mash-up where both shots share the spotlight.

Two Pose
This one’s all about variety—two separate poses, divided evenly across your prints. So half your prints will be Pose A, and the other half will be Pose B. No mixing, just clean variety.

In short:
Double Image Design = both images on each print.
Two Pose = different prints for each pose.

How Do I Order Pictures of My Child with Friends?

Want a keepsake of your kid with their teammates, siblings, or besties? You’re in the right place!

These special shots are called “Squad Shots” and they’re ordered à la carte – just like picking your favorites off a menu. Order Here

What counts as a Squad Shot?
Any photo with two or more kiddos – siblings, friends, teammates – smiling, goofing off, or showing off their game face together.

👉 Important!
These mini group photos are only kept if you order them. No proofing means they won’t be saved or shown later unless you’ve claimed them at checkout.

How to order:
When checking out, mention exactly which group photo you want in the remarks box (e.g. “Emma with Lily and Ava in soccer uniforms”).

What If I Need to Add More to My Order?

Oops, forgot something? No worries—we’ve got you!

If you’ve already placed your order and want to add more goodies, just place a second order. We’ll magically merge them together on our end, like peanut butter and jelly.

Heads-up: Orders can’t be changed or edited once submitted, so adding another one is the way to go!

Can I Proof My Child’s Senior Banner?

Absolutely! We know how important it is to get every detail just right—especially when it’s going up for the world to see!

Team Representative will receive a complimentary proof of all senior designs so you can double-check all the important stuff—like names, spellings, and making sure we didn’t accidentally turn “Alex” into “Alexa.” 😅

Need changes to the photo or design after that?
No problem! Each revision is $35, and we’ll need that fee before making any edits.

So give that first proof a good look—it might just be perfect the first time! 👀✨

Photo Model Image Release

In exchange for consideration received, once you make your purchase, the purchasing family member and customer, grants permission to Jon Nastasi Creative to use the photographic likeness of my child and/or family in all forms and media for lawful promotional purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, use in advertising, marketing materials, website galleries, social media, and other promotional efforts.

Participation in a session with Jon Nastasi Creative that involves a minor (under the age of 18), the parent or legal guardian grants permission for the child to be photographed. It is understood that all sessions are conducted in a safe, respectful, and professional environment.

We encourage parents or guardians to be present during the photo session. Images of minors can be used for promotional purposes (website, social media, advertising)

For over 18 years, Jon Nastasi Creative values the privacy and safety of every child and follows all guidelines to ensure a positive experience for families. We are cautious and very careful about sharing our content, and very selective about the images we share.

With your purchase from Jon Nastasi Creative, the customer affirms that he/she is the parent or legal guardian of the individual(s) being photographed and have the legal authority to grant this release. Your purchase serves as permission for the photo model release.

All images on this website are the intellectual property of Jon Nastasi Creative and are protected under U.S. copyright law. We kindly ask that you do not copy, screenshot, download, alter, or share any photos without prior written permission. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any images may result in legal action.

We’re passionate about our work and grateful for your appreciation of it. If you’d like to use a photo, collaborate, or have questions about image rights, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Retakes

In some cases, retakes may be offered at Jon’s discretion. If you feel a retake is needed, please reach out to me by email so we can talk it through. (Messages sent via text or social media aren’t monitored for these requests.)

Replacements Prints

If there's an issue with any printed items, no problem! I just ask that you return all of the original prints or products first, and I’ll gladly work with you to get them replaced.
